Convicted Deacon Giorgi Mamaladze has stopped the hunger strike.
"After my request, he confirmed that he would temporarily stop his hunger strike," Ombudsmen Nino Lomjaria said after leaving the penitentiary institution.
The convict decided to go on a hunger strike after the president refused to pardon him.
