Paata Imnadze saying that facemasks are harmful as they are sources of viruses is a lie, fake news, according to Deputy Chairperson of Parliament Davit Sergeenko.
At the plenary session, Davit Sergeenko stressed that media outlets had disseminated false information to the public.
Sergeenko also emphasized that facemasks are powerful tools against airborne diseases.
