Parishioners will enter churches before curfew, according to Archbishop

Archpriest Andria Jaghmaidze said that parishioners will attend Easter liturgy: they will enter churches before so-called curfew and stay there before 6 a.m. Social distancing rules and all other recommendations, in his words, will be followed.

Andria Jaghmaidze advised citizens suffering from chronic diseases to stay at home; as of grave-site visitations, the archbishop stressed this is an obsolete tradition, rather than a religious ritual.

"Don't visit burial plots," Jagmaidze declared.
