Patriarchate of Georgia says Patriarch not to take COVID test

Epidemiologists conduct coronavirus tests at the Patriarchate of Georgia.

After the Secretary-Assistant of the Patriarch Shorena Tetruashvili tested positive for COVID-19, the specialists began testing the Patriarchate employees.

The Patriarchate notes that employees and clergy regularly take tests for coronavirus.

“As for the health of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II, it is not planned to carry out a test on him. His Holiness feels good,” the Patriarchate reports.
