A car accident in Zestaponi municipality has reportedly claimed the life of a patrol police officer. As witnesses say, the deceased man was getting out of the car when a car hit him, with the driver fleeing the scene of the accident.
The investigation into the case has reportedly been launched under parts 2 and 6 of article 276 of the Criminal Code of Georgia envisaging violation of traffic laws and road safety resulting in death.
