Rally organized by the Patriarchate to be held today

Georgian Patriarchate will hold a rally against "Tbilisi Pride" today.

As the Patriarchate said in a statement two days ago, "the world must be shown that dignity is protected and that any attempt to degenerate is unacceptable."

"Recent events have clearly shown the pressure on the country. It is unacceptable for our church and our citizens to have the drastic interference of some embassies and some MEPs, and we believe that this is an abuse of their authority.

We declare once again that the purpose of the so-called "Pride" is to propagate a perverted lifestyle that damages the next generation's consciousness.

On July 5, this year, at 5 pm, we will gather at St. George's Church in Kashueti, offer a prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary and show the world that we are defending our dignity and that a relentless attempt to degenerate is unacceptable," mentions the spread information.
