Russia discusses resumption of flights with Georgia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko said that against the backdrop of an improved epidemiological situation, the issue of resuming flights with Georgia could be subject to a discussion.

''A ban on transporting Russian citizens to Georgia by airlines was a coercive measure taken due to anti-Russian disposition in the country. We believe this measure is temporary. Hopefully, the Georgian government has learned its lesson, and following the improvement of the epidemiological situation, the possibility of resuming air flights will emerge,'' Andrey Rudenko declared.
