Georgia's breakaway region of Abkhazia recorded 30 new cases of the novel coronavirus in a single day after 246 people were tested.
A total of 90 patients are now under treatment at the Gudauta hospital, with 24 in critical condition.
The occupied region has so far registered 15,248 cases, 14,480 recoveries, and 230 deaths.
