Scope of green pass must be wider in Georgia, says Bidzina Kulumbegov

Allergist/Immunologist Bidzina Kulumbegov says that COVID green pass must lead to putting an unvaccinated portion of the public in an uncomfortable situation, which is why it must apply to public transport and grocery stores.

In Kulumbegov's words, unless the scope of the green pass covers supermarkets and municipal transport, its impact will not be strong enough, which is why introducing the said restrictions for the unvaxxed must be the next step.

''It is not a must to check all passengers in public transport as it will result in technical issues, but they must tell them that unless they have a green pass, they will be denied access to public transport,'' Bidzina Kulumbegov said.
