Security Management Center issues statement

After the coronavirus has been officially confirmed in Georgia, the number of calls received by the Public Security Management Center 112 has not reportedly been increased. Messages are continuously received and forwarded to the corresponding services, according to the Press Office of the Ministry.

"The Public Security Management Center 112 is prepared to provide more groups of operators and dispatchers to ensure that the public receives the corresponding assistance," the statement says.

Two coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Georgia, with one of them detected today. The infected woman, 31, has recently visited Italy.
