Several air companies to resume flights to Batumi: Economic Minister

Kazakh air company ‘Air Astana’ has conducted its first flights in the renovated Batumi airport.

Air Astana plans to conduct flights three times a week.

As Georgia’s Economic Minister Natia Turnava said, Georgia’s tourism sector is ready to provide visitors with service in compliance with COVID-regulations.

In her words, tourism is essential for ensuring Georgia’s economic growth.

Batumi International Airport will host the first flight from Saudi Arabia. The Flynas air company will resume operation in Georgia and bring tourists to Batumi and Tbilisi.

LOT Polish Airlines and Ukraine International Airlines will also start operating in Batumi.
