Situation not easy to handle but under control, according to Gia Grdzelidze

Gia Grdzelidze, the founder of the Western Regional Center of Modern Medical Technologies, says that the situation is not easy to handle, but it is under control.

In Grdzelidze's words, allegations that the system has collapsed are exaggerated. "The government has not left any of our patients without care. There is no reason for panic," Grdzelidze said.

Georgia recorded 3,958 cases in the past 24 hours to bring the total tally to 108,690. A total of 3,531 patients have recovered, with their number increasing to 89,170.

The country has registered 1,012 deaths (36 recent).
