"Traffic is prohibited on Nakerala Pass," the Roads Department reports.
"Due to heavy snowfall, on the Kutaisi (Motsameta) -Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, 39-62 kilometer section (Nakerala Pass), of domestic importance, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited, and the movement of other types of vehicles is free," the statement reads.
According to them, traffic is free on the rest of the road.
