Tamar Gabunia says 'twindemic' may pose serious threat

Georgian Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia says that the 'twindemic' of flu and coronavirus, about which the WHO has issued statements, may pose a serious threat to health.

The deputy minister urges the public to follow all recommendations, including wearing face masks, keeping a safe social distance, and regularly washing and cleaning hands with hand sanitizers to avoid 'a double blow  COVID and flu may deal.' ''Also, get vaccinated. The vaccination rate must pass 60% if we want to avoid the fifth coronavirus wave,'' she stressed.
