Temperature to exceed 38 degrees

According to the National Environment Agency, on June 23, high air temperatures will continue in eastern Georgia and the mountainous regions of western Georgia: 33, 38 degrees in the lowlands of Eastern Georgia, 31, 36 degrees in the mountainous regions.

From June 24 to July 1, the air temperature in eastern Georgia may exceed 38 degrees on some days.

Expected high air temperatures are one of the contributing factors to forest fires.
