Ten people detained during rally in front of the Parliament

Ten people were detained during the confrontation between the law enforcers and the opposition's supporters near the Parliament of Georgia.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs informed report.ge, the activists were detained under Article 173 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which stipulates disobedience to a police officer's lawful request.

The confrontation near the Parliament started after the opposition's supporters tried to move the tent from the back entrance to the front of the legislature building.

They were not allowed to set up the tent, which led to a confrontation.

The controversy with Parliament continues. Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the National Movement, arrived on the spot.
