Tengiz Tsertsvadze: Vaccine can not reliably protect us from infection

Tengiz Tsertsvadze, the head of the Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center, said the vaccine does not fully protect from infection, but it can prevent complications.

According to Tsertsvadze, in the case of vaccinated persons, the need for resuscitation and death cases is minimized.

"The vaccine can not reliably protect us from infection. But it protects us very reliably, including the Chinese vaccine from deaths, resuscitation, and severe forms," Tengiz Tsertsvadze said.
