The clerics of Evangelical-Lutheran Church will study the Georgian

The Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Georgia held the Synod session. Nino Chavchavadze, Head of the Office of Strategic Research, Analysis and Regions at the State Agency of Religious Issues, Hubert Knirsch, Ambassador of Germany, clerical representatives from various religious organizations and the invited guests participated in the session.

After the review of existing issues of the Synod, Nino Chavchavadze addressed the guests. According to her statement, Evangelical-Lutheran Church is actively participating in the interreligious advisory board.

“Their clerics are participating in the new project called “The State Language for Clerics” implemented by the State Agency of Religious Issues. In the framework of the project, around twenty representatives of the Lutheran Church will take the course of the Georgian Language.

According to Nino Chavchavadze, the Agency is permanently interested in the needs of all religious organizations operating in Georgia and cooperates to help settle existing problems.
