Three detained outside CEC building

Three representatives of the youth wing of the Labour Party have been detained after they were involved in a conflict with law enforcement officers outside the Central Election Commission building. They are now facing petty hooliganism and police disobedience charges.

The altercation at the CEC occurred after rally participants attempted to bring the tent inside the building.

Demonstrators require the meeting with Tamar Zhvania, and the right for self-isolated and quarantined citizens to cast their votes in the upcoming elections.

Following the CEC decision, citizens could request portable ballot box services before 6 p.m. today.
