The Roads Department of Georgia has published information on traffic restrictions at Zugdidi-Svaneti road.
Due to heavy snow and possible avalanches, movement of all kind of vehicles has been banned at km186-km198 (Ushguli-Lasdili) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road.
At km138-km186 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, auto transport trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a seating capacity of more than 30 passengers have be prohibited. Movement is free for other types of transport.
At km1-km138 (Zugdidi-Mestia) section of the road, traffic movement is also free.
