NCDC Head Amiran Gamkrelidze said that two citizens of Georgia have tested positive for Indian coronavirus strain.

''Five people have tested positive for the Indian COVID-19 variant. Two out of five prove to be citizens of Georgia. All the five have traveled to foreign countries, in particular, in the Middle East. They entered Georgia in mid-May. Their health condition is fairly good. Three foreigners have already left Georgia. The citizens of Georgia have been isolated, and they are under supervision. They are in-home care patients showing mild symptoms,'' the NCDC head said.
