‘’The United States is very concerned and condemns the recent action taken yesterday against an illegally detained Georgian citizen,“ US Ambassador Kelly Degnan said when commenting on the so-called Tskhinvali court verdict against Georgian national Zaza Gakheladze.
In her words, charges against Gakheladze are ‘completely fabricated.’
“We hope there will be serious consideration given to resolving this quickly and releasing this Georgian citizen as soon as possible,” US Ambassador Kelly Degnan stated.
