Which COVID-19 vaccine must Georgia accept?

Healthcare Advisor to the UN Secretary-General Giorgi Pkhakadze says that vaccination is an immensely complex process, and vaccines may be used only after the WHO recommends so.

"Vaccines are not toys. Vaccination is an extremely complex process. Unfortunately, lots of people are unaware of difficulties which may be ensued from it, such as transportation and others. We must accept only the vaccine which the WHO will recommend. We have no other alternative. Also, if the vaccine is approved, Georgia must comply with the protocols of the WHO only," Giorgi Pkhakadze said in his televised interview with Rustavi 2.

Hopeful coronavirus-related reports have surfaced lately worldwide.
