Mikheil Saakashvili's personal physician Nikoloz Khipshidze said that the ex-president refuses to be admitted to Gldani prison hospital.
Justice Minister Rati Bregadze said earlier that Mikheil Saakashvili is planned to be hospitalized in No18 treatment establishment of the Special Penitentiary Service.
Saakashvili's lawyers say that his safety cannot be ensured in the said establishment.
Mikheil Saakashvili was detained on 1 October.
He declared a hunger strike 21 days ago.
