A woman has died after being hit by an exploding pyrotechnic on the New Year's Eve in the Kutaisi municipality.
The woman sustained head injuries and was transported to a hospital, but doctors failed to save her life.
The investigation of the case is in progress under Article 124 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, envisaging inflicting severe or moderate injuries upon another by negligence.
