Five Georgians to wrestle at the World Championship today

Preliminary and semifinal matches in the remaining five weight categories will be held today at the Under-23 World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. On the second day of the tournament, five members of the Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team will compete in the tournament:

Firuz Abuladze (60 kg), Joni Khetsuriani (67 kg), Otar Abuladze (72 kg), Aivengo Rikadze (82 kg), Giorgi Katsanashvili (97 kg).

Preliminary stage matches will start at 13:30 Tbilisi time. The semifinal matches will be held at 19:45.

Leri Abuladze (63 kg) will fight for the gold medal in the final block of the World Championship today; he will face a Turkish opponent. Temur Chkuaselidze (87 kg) will wrestle for the bronze medal. Nikoloz Chikaidze also has the chance to take third place.

The final block will start at 21:00 Tbilisi time.
