Former famous coach of Liverpool F.C. dies

Former famous Liverpool coach Gérard Houllier died at the age of 73.

The cause of death is yet unknown. Houllier was the head coach of Liverpool F.C., France, RC Lens, Lyon, and Aston Villa F.C.

With Liverpool, Gérard Houllier won the UEFA Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the FA Cup, the Super Cup, and the English League Cup. Houllier led the French U-18 team to win the European Championship.

In 2001, he was named UEFA Coach of the Year.
