Georgian judoka Luka Maisuradze (81 kg) has defeated Dutch Frank de Wit at the European Judo Championship in Prague.
The medal by Maisuradze is the second for the country at this championship. Today, Lasha Shavdatuashvili (73 kg) has lost to Moldavian Victor Scvortov after a few seconds on the ground. Shavdatuashvili was awarded silver.
Tato Grigalashvili (81 kg) will soon fight against Bulgarian judoka Ivaylo Ivanov. Grigalashvili, who beat Belgian Matthias Casse in the semi-finals, will vie for gold.
