According to the Tennis Federation of Georgia, Georgia's No.1 ranked tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili has succeeded in reaching the quarterfinals of the ongoing international tournament in Metz city, France.
In the three-hour match, Basilashvili beat his rival, Spanish Alejandro Davidovich 0:6,6:4,7:6 (7:4).
In the quarterfinals, the Georgian tennis player will meet French Gael Monfils ranking No.20 globally.
The prize money amounts to EUR 481,270.
