Georgian national team defeated Russia 4: 2 in the final at the European Under-23 Championship in Budapest and became the winner of the European Under-23 Championship in the team competition.
Eter Liparteliani (-57), Nika Kharazishvili (-90), Sophio Somkhishvili (+78), and Saba Inaneishvili (+100) won their fights in the final.
The members of the Georgian national team won eight medals at the continental championship. Tato Grigalashvili (81 kg) and Ilia Sulamanidze (100) won gold medals.
The Georgian national team won the mixed team competition (girls and boys) for the first time.
