Irakli Abuseridze to head Rugby union

Elections are over - Irakli Abuseridze will head the Georgian Rugby Union for the next four years.

Irakli Abuseridze received 31 votes, and Gocha Svanidze received ten.

The clubs nominated three candidates for the post of the Rugby Union president: Bacho Khurtsidze, Irakli Abuseridze, and Gocha Svanidze.

Only two members, Irakli Abuseridze and Gocha Svanidze, attended elections.

Forty-three delegates with the right to vote attended today's election, so the results will be considered legitimate.
