Judoka Lasha Bekauri reached the final of the Tokyo Olympic Games. In the semifinal, the Georgian sportsman defeated the Russian representative Mikhail Igolnikov.
In the first round, Bekauri met Polish Piotr Kuczera. It took less than two minutes to defeat the opponent with a clear victory. Afterward, he defeated the representative of Israel Li Kochman, and in the quarterfinals, the representative of Uzbekistan, Davlat Bobonov, got eliminated.
