A living football legend, Lionel Messi set another record. The Argentinian has played the most matches in the club's history for the Catalan team FC Barcelona.

In the 28th round of the Spanish "La Liga," Messi played against Real Sociedad. The 33-year-old legend has made 768 appearances for the Catalan Grand Prix, beating Xavier Hernández.

Messi made his Barcelona debut in 2004. During this time, he managed to score 659 goals, and with this result, he is also the most productive scorer of the team.
