Paris Saint-Germain's midfielder Marco Verratti and central defender Abdou Diallo have tested positive for the coronavirus, the club announced on Friday, Xinhua news reports.
The Ligue 1 giant said that both players would serve self-isolation according to the health protocol and thus miss the league match at Lorient on Sunday.
The team had been hit hard by the virus since last summer as seven players, including Neymar, Kylian Mbappe, and Angel Di Maria, were confirmed infected at the beginning of the season, while a new coach Mauricio Pochettino also tested positive two weeks ago.
