Scandal at Champions League

The match of the sixth round of the Champions League between Paris Saint-Germain F.C and İstanbul Başakşehir F.K stopped in the first half.

In the 14th minute of the game, head referee Ovidiu Hațegan kicked out the assistant coach of the Turkish club Pierre Webo from the bench. But he addressed the fourth referee of the match, Sebastian Coltescu, and accused him of racial abuse.

This led to a scandal involving players from both teams. Demba Ba from Başakşehir and Killian Mbabane and Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain were most actively engaged in the process.

After a few minutes of negotiations, the players of Başakşehir left the field. The Parisians followed them.

The game was stopped at 0: 0 and was not renewed. According to the decision of UEFA, the meeting will continue today, December 9.
