Tornike Shengelia officially became a member of PFC CSKA Moscow. The official page of the Russian team reports about the new information. Georgian basketball player signed a three-year contract with the Moscow club.
One of the best players of the Georgian national team posted on his Instagram page and said goodbye to the former team Saski Baskonia.
"I don't know where to start, and I think that I still can't fully express how I feel about this city and these people no matter what I say. From the first day, you accepted me as one of you and made me feel great love for my family and me," Shengelia wrote. "I want to thank all my teammates and coach with whom I have spent the last six years."
The Georgian sportsman responded to the transfer.
"I am happy to be joining the current EuroLeague champions, and I am looking forward to start playing with these extraordinary basketball players under the leadership of an extraordinary coaching staff," PFC CSKA Moscow official website quoted Shengelia.
