Two players of Atletico Madrid confirmed to have coronavirus. The club released information. The identities of the infected players are not named.
"Before leaving for Lisbon, players and service personnel underwent testing. It was revealed today that two players have the infection. They are now isolated, and we have already reported the incident to the relevant authorities. The protocol states that the whole team must undergo a new test, which will inevitably affect traveling to Portugal, life and training schedule," the club said in a statement.
On August 13, Atletico Madrid will meet RB Leipzig in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
