A member of the Georgian female weightlifting team, Natia Gadelia, has won the world champion title. She completed a clean and jerk and was awarded the gold medal and silver in snatch lifting.
According to the Weightlifting Federation of Georgia, Gadelia dedicated her victory to the victims of the recent Batumi tragedy.
Natia Gadelia has improved Georgian weightlifters' record by 4 kg.
