World vice-champion coach dies

Former head coach of the national team Alejandro Sabella died in Argentina.

Since 1990, under his leadership, the Argentine team has achieved the best result. In 2014, the team played at the World Cup final, where they lost in extra time to Germany.

Sabella was 66 years old. He was diagnosed with heart disease, but the worsening of his condition was influenced by the antibiotics he was taking because of cancer.

In addition to the Argentine national team, Sabella coached Estudiantes de La Plata, Leeds United, Sheffield United F.C., and Club Atlético River Plate.
