11-year-old boy receives a bachelor's degree in physics in Belgium

At the University of Antwerp, Belgium, 11-year-old Laurent Simons received a bachelor's degree in physics. The administration of the educational institution confirms the information, VRT reports.

Simons is a "Wunderkind." He graduated from high school at the age of eight.

He was able to complete his bachelor's degree in physics in just one year. In general, the program is three years long.

The following academic year, Simons will officially begin his master's studies.
