Seventeen people arrested on the Independence Day in Belorussia reports local media.
Belorussia celebrates Independence Day on July 3. Protesters went marching in several cities of the country protesting the current election campaign. Police arrested several people.
Internal Ministry of Belorussia had stated earlier that police were ready to cease any provocation, including the political one.
The presidential election is planned for August 9.
