The number of people infected with the new coronavirus increased by 2 023 in the last 24 hours in Iran. The spokesman of the Health Ministry, Kianoush Jahanpour, revealed the information about the latest numbers.
According to the Minister of Health, a total of 137 724 people tested positive on the new coronavirus infection in the country.
About 107 713 patients recovered and defeated the virus.
COVID-19 killed 7 451 patients, 34 of them during a day.
