Militant extremists attacked a military camp, killing 70 and injuring several soldiers in Niger, near the Mali border.
The terrorists were able to take over the camp and controlled it throughout the night. The camp could be freed from terrorists only after additional troops arrived.
According to the local Security Service, 57 terrorists were killed during the clash.
