A 102-year-old woman has recovered from COVID-19 in Italy

A 102-year-old woman has recovered from coronavirus in the northern Italian city of Genoa after spending more than 20 days in the hospital, doctors who treated her, and her nephew told CNN.

Italica Grondona was hospitalized at the beginning of March for "mild heart failure, informs CNN. The test confirmed her coronavirus infection.

Italica Grondona’s doctor says that they did very little, she recovered on her own. The doctors called her Highlander and the hope for all the elderly facing this pandemic

“Her only son died in the US decades ago. However, she loves life, dancing, and music" - Villa Grondona, her nephew, told CNN.
