Alcohol sale prohibition cancelled in Thailand

Alcohol sale prohibition introduced amid coronavirus epidemic in Thailand is cancelled, Natapanu Nopakun, acting press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs.

“The alcohol drinks sale has resumed since today, but alcohol consumption is allowed only at home. Drinking of alcohol in public places and restaurants is still prohibited” – explained Nopakun.

The video exhibited in the social net shows the population going to the nearest shops to buy alcohol drinks. They buy drinks in big volumes to make a stock fearing a new restriction.
