Aliyev says five regions de-occupied

We can say that five regions have been de-occupied, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with Germany's ARD TV.

He said this in response to a journalist's question that sounded as follows: "Do you aim to liberate all seven districts, and then negotiate and reach an agreement on the autonomous zone of Nagorno-Karabakh?"

"We offered this,'' Aliyev said, "But the Armenians rejected as always.''

"The Minsk Group co-chairs can confirm my words. We have always proposed, we have always been loyal to the peace plan," Ilham Aliyev declared.
