“In terms of the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in Germany, the following few weeks of winter will be most difficult,” German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a video message on Instagram.
“It is the second dangerous wave of the pandemic that many European countries are experiencing, including our country,” Merkel stated.
Germany found it difficult to cope with the pandemic during the New Year holidays, Merkel said.
