According to the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan recorded 278 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours to take the total case count to 234,267.
Five people died in the past 24 hours, this bringing the tally to 3,218.
A total of 2,398 patients are still under treatment, and 228,651 patients recovered.
Local health workers have tested 2,591,235 million Azerbaijanis since the outbreak.
