"As a result of the counter-offensive, the Azerbaijani Army units destroyed the enemy's front line and liberated seven villages from occupation,'' Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov said.
"First of all, considering the operational conditions, you have been informed, and the Azerbaijani Army is conducting a counter-offensive. In other areas, the Azerbaijani Army is fighting with successful offensive operations, and the enemy does not seem so strong and retreats,'' he stated.
Military operations have been underway since the early morning at the Azerbaijan – Armenia border.
