Azerbaijani swimmer Vali Israfilov brought the country its 11th gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The 18-year-old athlete set a Paralympic record in the 100-meter breaststroke with a result of 1: 04.86.
In addition, Vali Israfilov became the youngest Paralympic champion of Azerbaijan.
Currently, Azerbaijan holds 16 medals at the Paralympic Games, including 11 gold, and ranks 10th.
